Bharuch is a small industrial town near Vadodara in Gujarat. When we got the brief to design this fully commercial project, it was going to be the biggest in Bharuch and one of the largest in that entire area. The brief from an NRI client was simple: to design the building at par with any other metro city of India or in UAE. The cost didn’t matter for a change. Even though it was a small place, we came up with a very contemporary solution, which even today is appreciated by everyone. The building had retail showrooms on the lower floors and offices on the upper floors.
